Autism is not a malfunction, it is a different architecture. Imaging studies keep showing the same pattern: dense connectivity within local areas, less stable connection between distant networks. That explains both at once — extraordinary depth in detail, and the effort it takes to coordinate many layers at the same time: time, body, emotion and other people's expectations in one moment.

The brain works as a prediction machine, constantly computing what comes next. When those predictions land less reliably, every ambiguity becomes expensive and every transition a threat. A visible, unchanging plan takes exactly that work off the child from the outside. Not control — relief.

A parent's prompt always carries social charge: tone, gaze, expectation, yesterday. A plan on a screen carries none of it. It simply states what is. That is why many children follow the device more easily than the person they love — and parents turn from enforcers back into companions.
