We do not track you
Elija OS sets no advertising cookies and embeds no ad networks. That is why there is no cookie banner nagging you for consent — there is nothing to consent to.
What we store and why
- Sign-in: a secure session token so you do not have to log in every time you open the app.
- Language and view: your choice (German/English, parent or child view) so the device is already right in the morning.
- Offline operation: the current day plan is stored locally so the child view keeps working without a network.
- Security: short-lived protection tokens against form abuse.
All of these are technically necessary within the meaning of § 25(2) TDDDG.
Control
You can clear local data at any time via your browser settings, or sign out in the app — which empties this device's local storage. Your plan remains safe on the server.
